Talking About The Weather is Lay Low’s fourth studio album as a solo artist and it’s the second album she releases in the year of 2013. Lay Low or Lovísa Elísabet Sigrúnardóttir has been one of Iceland’s most prolific female musicians for decades and probably the most productive one in the new millennium.

Lovísa usually handles most of the musical instrument duties on her albums and that goes also for Talking About The Weather. Added to her musicianship she now controls the recording of her newest album which was mostly recorded in her new home on the south coast of Iceland. The album was mixed by none other than Ian Grimble who’s known for his work with British alt pop favorites like Manic Street Preachers, Beth Orton, Travis and and Lovísa’s newest touring buddies Daughter, a band she has been touring with in Europe and the US.
